Oilfield workshop / Journey management
Ride Hive
The journey matters. So does the person taking it.
Ride Hive is a worker-safety, journey-management and mileage project built around remote field travel. Its focus is the full journey: a plan, a worker-confirmed start, check-ins and a clear human handoff when attention is needed.

Follow the journey.
Illustrated workflow · a project overview
Step 01
Plan
Set out the intended journey before travel begins, so the trip has a clear starting point and context.
Step 02
Start
A worker confirms the start of the journey. The project’s tracking model is built around an active, worker-confirmed trip.
Step 03
Check in
Travel updates and welfare confirmations serve different purposes. A location update alone does not confirm that a person is okay.
Step 04
Acknowledge
When a journey needs attention, the workflow calls for a named human to acknowledge and resolve it, with remote coverage conditions in mind.
Step 05
Close out
Close the journey and bring its mileage and timeline together. Closing a trip ends the active tracking session.
Step 1 of 5
Built for the distance between places
Remote oilfield travel is the starting point: long drives, changing coverage and people who need a clear way to stay connected to their journey plan.
A person behind the check-in
Ride Hive distinguishes travel signals from a worker’s welfare confirmation. Its design keeps human acknowledgement and resolution in the loop when a trip needs attention.
A record of the whole journey
The project brings journey management, mileage and a trip timeline together, so the closeout belongs to the same workflow as the departure.
