Screamwood

Two parks. One piece of land.

The park closes. The story doesn’t.

Screamwood is an adventure-horror RPG built around two theme parks occupying the same land in different times. By day, there is modern SKYLINE. By night, there is WONDERWOOD: an abandoned 1970s thrill park, with rides to repair and a past that refuses to stay quiet.

Across the same ground

One place. Two stories.

Behind SKYLINE’s gates

The modern park occupies the day side of the story. Twyla’s friend’s planned rescue takes them behind the scenes, maintaining a cover and reaching restricted equipment.

WONDERWOOD after dark

The abandoned 1970s park is Twyla’s night-side adventure: a past to uncover, rides to restore and ghosts to confront.

Meet Twyla

Twyla is a food critic whose visit to SKYLINE takes her into WONDERWOOD. Her story is the heart of the night-side adventure, where exploring the park and putting it back together become part of finding a way through.

Restore the rides. Face the show.

The game’s planned night-side play combines renovation puzzles, encounters with the park’s ghosts, choreographed dance sequences and distinct boss fights. The story follows a directed path through the park, with specific objectives and carefully placed encounters.

A rescue on the other side

The planned daytime story follows Twyla’s friend infiltrating SKYLINE to help her. Getting behind the scenes, maintaining a cover and reaching restricted equipment become rescue missions: practical actions on the shared land that help Twyla progress in WONDERWOOD.
